The transaction values the target at approximately 1.4 billion euros with 22x EV/EBITDA multiple. The deal requires regulatory approvals from competition authorities and will make the acquiring company the fourth-largest player in India's paint industry. The Dutch parent will retain powder coatings business and research center while using proceeds for deleveraging and share buybacks.
