<h1>India Raises Ethanol Price from C Heavy Molasses; Targets 20% Blending by 2025-26 Ethanol Year</h1> The Union Cabinet has approved an increase in the ex-mill price of ethanol made from C heavy molasses by Rs 1.69, setting it at Rs 57.97 per litre for the 2024-25 period ending October 31. Prices for ethanol from B heavy molasses and sugarcane juice/sugar/sugar syrup remain unchanged at Rs 60.73 and Rs 65.61 per litre, respectively. Additionally, the government has advanced its target for achieving 20% ethanol blending in petrol to the ethanol year 2025-26, with Oil Marketing Companies aiming for 18% blending during the 2024-25 supply year.
