<h1>REPL to Implement GIS-Based Asset Mapping for JBVNL Under RDSS, Aiming to Improve Power Supply and Operations.</h1> Infrastructure consultancy firm REPL has been appointed by Jharkhand Bijli Vitran Nigam Ltd (JBVNL) to execute a GIS-based asset mapping project as part of the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS). This five-year initiative includes consumer indexing, GIS-based asset mapping, and the creation or upgrading of GIS databases and applications. The project aims to integrate advanced GIS technology into JBVNL's operations, enhancing the quality, reliability, and affordability of power supply. REPL will conduct field surveys, map electrical assets, migrate data to a cloud platform, and deploy GIS software, improving meter reading, billing, and energy audits.
