<h1>SWAYATT Initiative on GeM Empowers Start-ups, Women, and Youth, Driving Over Rs. 1.87 Lakh Crore in MSE Business.</h1> The Government e-Marketplace (GeM) celebrated the success of the SWAYATT initiative, which aims to enhance the participation of start-ups, women, and youth in e-transactions. Over 8.5 lakh Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) have registered on the GeM portal, securing business worth over Rs. 1.87 lakh crore. The initiative has enabled more than 1.45 lakh women MSEs and 43,000 SC/ST MSEs to fulfill significant orders. The event highlighted GeM's role in promoting social and financial inclusion, with support from various government officials and representatives from organizations like SEWA-Bharat and SFAC. SWAYATT was launched in February 2019 to boost inclusiveness in public procurement.
