of The regulator issued a circular prescribing a simplified, mandatory Disclosure Document format for portfolio managers, deleting Schedule V and dividing the document into static and dynamic sections covering 16 specified parameters. Updated pages must start on a fresh page; only pages with changes require certification by an independent chartered accountant and the principal officer, and must be communicated to clients, uploaded to the manager's website and filed with the regulator within seven working days. Existing regulatory requirements, certification norms and other provisions remain unchanged. The circular is effective immediately and issued under the regulator's statutory powers to protect investors.
