of The GoI issued a notification amending the Prevention of Money-laundering Act (PMLA) notification from 2006 by inserting a new entry (27) to include the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) as an authorized entity for information sharing under section 66(1)(ii). The amendment enables I4C to access and exchange financial intelligence data, expanding the scope of information sharing mechanisms in combating financial crimes and cyber-related money laundering activities. The modification was made by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, with the directive that such information exchange is necessary in public interest.
