of Notification amends previous notification No. 19/2022-Central Excise to reduce Special Additional Excise Duty on production of Petroleum Crude from existing rate to Rs. 4600 per tonne. Amendment made in exercise of powers u/s 5A of Central Excise Act, 1944 read with Section 147 of Finance Act, 2002. Comes into force on 1st August, 2024.
