of <h1>DGFT Updates ANF 2E for SCOMET Export Licenses, Effective April 1, 2011; Simplifies Process and Includes New Guidelines.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade has amended the Handbook of Procedures, Volume 1 (Appendices and Aayat Niryat Forms), 2009-14, by replacing the existing Aayat Niryat Form 2E (ANF 2E) with a new version effective from April 1, 2011. This form is required for applications for export licenses of SCOMET items. The revised ANF 2E has been simplified based on feedback from exporters and includes an updated declaration/undertaking and comprehensive guidelines for applicants. All relevant applications filed from April 1, 2011, must use this new form.
