of <h1>Regulator extends digital accessibility compliance deadlines under Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act and reallocates reporting responsibilities</h1> The regulator granted extensions to timelines for compliance with its digital accessibility circular under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, revising due dates for submitting compliance reports and platform lists (to 30 Sept 2025), appointing IAAP-certified accessibility professionals (to 14 Dec 2025), completing accessibility audits (to 30 Apr 2026), remediating findings (to 31 Jul 2026), and annual audit reporting (next due 30 Apr 2027). Reporting responsibilities were reallocated so investment advisers and research analysts must report to the designated stock exchange, while stock brokers/depository participants report to exchanges/depositories and other regulated entities report to the regulator. The circular is issued under the regulator's statutory powers.
