of <h1>Public Notice No. 05/2024 suspension extended: Previous wastage norms for gold, platinum, silver exports reinstated until October 31, 2024.</h1> Public Notice No. 05/2024, which was issued to modify wastage permissible and Standard Input Output Norms for Gold, Platinum, and Silver content in export items, has been further suspended until October 31, 2024. This decision follows representations from the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council and previous extensions. During this suspension, the previous wastage norms and Standard Input Output Norms (SIONs) M1 to M7, as outlined in the Handbook of Procedures 2023, are reinstated. This action is taken under the authority of the Directorate General of Foreign Trade as per the Foreign Trade Policy 2023.
