of <h1>Notification No. 71/2023 is not retroactive; pre-11.03.2024 Advance Authorizations maintain original rules. No clubbing allowed.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade clarifies that the provisions of Notification No. 71/2023, dated 11.03.2024, are not retroactive. Advance Authorizations (AA) issued before this date will adhere to the rules in effect at their issuance. Amendments to incorporate Quality Control Order exemptions for these pre-existing AAs are not permitted. Additionally, clubbing AAs issued under Notification No. 71/2023 with those issued prior is not allowed. This clarification is issued with the approval of the Competent Authority.
