of <h1>DGFT Changes Moong Beans Import Policy to 'Restricted'; Contracts Before 11.02.2022 Can Register for Limited Imports.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) issued Trade Notice No. 37/2021-22 regarding the implementation of Notification S.O. 624 (E) dated 11.02.2022, which changes the import policy for Moong beans (HS Code 07133190) from 'Free' to 'Restricted'. Importers who entered contracts before 11.02.2022 with advance payments can import proportionate quantities based on payments made. Import contracts must be registered by 15.03.2022 with jurisdictional Regional Offices, and applications for import registration certificates must be submitted online after 07.03.2022. The registration process requires verification and approval by the Head of Office.
