Registrations can be voluntarily surrendered, and deemed invalid if inactive for a year, though renewal is possible. The Board plans to review these changes in April 2022. Authorised Couriers registered at one Customs Station can operate at others by notifying the relevant authorities and providing required security. Efforts are underway to rationalize multiple registrations to streamline operations. Communication of registration revocations to other Customs Stations is emphasized.
