of <h1>India Launches E-Platform for Preferential Certificates of Origin for Exports to Mauritius, Effective April 1, 2021.</h1> The Government of India has announced the implementation of an electronic platform for the issuance of Preferential Certificates of Origin for exports to Mauritius under the India-Mauritius Comprehensive Economic Cooperation and Partnership Agreement, effective April 1, 2021. Exporters must use a Digital Signature Certificate for electronic submissions, with the digital signature linked to their Importer Exporter Code. New applicants must register on the portal, where their details will be auto-populated from the DGFT database. Paper copies of the certificates can be collected in person or by post for submission to Mauritius authorities.
