<h1>DGFT Expands Electronic Platform for Preferential Certificates to Include India-Mercosur and India-Thailand Agreements.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), India, announced the expansion of its electronic platform for the issuance of Preferential Certificates of Origin (CoO) to include the India-Mercosur Preferential Trade Agreement and the India-Thailand Early Harvest Scheme, effective from February 25, 2021. Exporters must now submit applications electronically, requiring a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC). Manual applications submitted before this date will still be processed. Exporters need to register on the DGFT portal, ensuring their Importer Exporter Code (IEC) details are updated. Guidance and support are available through the DGFT Helpdesk.
