of <h1>India's DGFT Issues New Guidelines for ASEAN-India Trade: e-Certificates for Exports to Vietnam Now Available.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade of India has issued a notice regarding the issuance of Preferential Certificates of Origin for exports to Vietnam under the ASEAN-India Free Trade Agreement. Exporters can now obtain an additional electronic copy of the certificate, featuring an image signature and stamp, for immediate clearance. Physical copies will still be available for further submission if needed. Applications for certificates, except for Thailand, must be submitted through the e-COO Platform starting June 22, 2020. The designated issuing agencies will provide both electronic and printed certificates upon request.
