of <h1>DGFT Extends Urad Import Deadline to May 31, 2020, Due to COVID-19 Disruptions; No Further Extensions Allowed.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has extended the deadline for the import of an additional 2.5 lakh metric tons of Urad for the fiscal year 2019-20. Initially set to be completed by 31st March 2020, and subsequently extended to 30th April and 15th May, the new deadline is now 31st May 2020 due to COVID-19 lockdown disruptions. All license holders are required to ensure their imports arrive at Indian ports by this date, with no further extensions to be granted. This decision has been approved by the competent authority.
