of <h1>DGFT Updates TMA Procedure for Air Export of Agricultural Products: Claims Now Per Kilogram, Effective April 28, 2020.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade has amended the procedure for availing Transport and Marketing Assistance (TMA) on specified agricultural products exported by air. Effective immediately, claims for air shipments must be made on a per kilogram basis, ignoring any fractional weights, rather than the previous per ton basis. This change applies to applications submitted on or after April 28, 2020. The amendment also updates guidelines and declarations related to the export process, emphasizing the calculation of assistance based on full kilogram weights. The notice replaces Annexure 3 to Notification No. 17/3/2018-EP (Agri. IV) with new differential rates for air exports.
