<h1>SEBI Extends Filing Deadlines for AIFs and VCFs by Two Months Due to COVID-19, Effective Immediately.</h1> The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has extended the due dates for regulatory filings for Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) and Venture Capital Funds (VCFs) by two months for periods ending March 31, 2020, and April 30, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This extension is in addition to the timelines outlined in the SEBI (Alternative Investment Funds) Regulations, 2012. The circular, issued under Section 11(1) of the SEBI Act, 1992, is effective immediately and can be accessed on the SEBI website under the 'Legal - Circulars' section.
