of <h1>DGFT Clarifies Pea Import Policy: All Types Restricted Under Exim Code 07131000, No Registration Needed for Early April 2018 Shipments.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade issued a clarification regarding Notification No. 4/2015-20, which amends the import policy of peas under Chapter 7 of the ITC(HS) 2017. The clarification specifies that the import policy for all types of peas classified under Exim Code 07131000, including yellow, green, dun, and kaspa peas, is restricted, not just yellow peas. Additionally, no registration with DGFT is required for pea shipments dated between April 1, 2018, and April 24, 2018, as the restriction was enacted on April 25, 2018. Notification No. 5 states that policy changes apply prospectively from the notification date.
