However, a clarification issued on May 16, 2018, specifies that peas (other than Yellow Peas) imported between April 25, 2018, and May 15, 2018, are permitted freely if they were awaiting customs clearance or had a Bill of Lading before May 16, 2018. Customs authorities are instructed to verify the type of peas for clearance under these conditions.
