<h1>DGFT Amends ANF 2A Form for IEC Applications: Online Only, Two Documents Needed, Digital Signatures Required from April 1, 2016.</h1> The public notice issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) announces amendments to the ANF 2A form for Importer Exporter Code (IEC) applications under the Foreign Trade Policy (2015-2020). Effective immediately, online applications require only two documents: a PAN and a cancelled cheque or bank certificate, along with a digital photograph of the applicant. From April 1, 2016, manual applications will be discontinued, and only online applications with digital signatures will be accepted. The decision on granting or refusing IEC will be communicated within two working days. The notice also provides guidelines for the online application process and document requirements.
