<h1>CBDT Reconstitutes Dispute Resolution Panels in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru u/s 144C of Income-tax Act 1961.</h1> The Central Board of Direct Taxes, under section 144C of the Income-tax Act, 1961, has reconstituted Dispute Resolution Panels (DRPs) in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru, effective January 1, 2015. The panels are designated to handle cases based on geographical jurisdiction and alphabetical categorization of assessee names. DRP-1 and DRP-2 in Delhi cover different regions and alphabetical ranges, while DRP-1 and DRP-2 in Mumbai address cases within specified areas in Maharashtra and other states. The Bengaluru panel covers cases from several southern states and union territories. This order supersedes previous assignments and is approved by the Chairperson of CBDT.
