The order specifies the allocation of cases based on the first letter of the assessee's name and geographical regions. DRP-I, II, and III in Delhi and Mumbai have been assigned specific alphabets and regions to manage. This reallocation aims to optimize workload and enhance the efficiency of DRPs. The directive has been approved by the Chairperson of CBDT.
