<h1>Central Board of Excise & Customs adds 'CFS Mulund' for metal scrap clearance, updating Circular No. 56/2004-Cus.</h1> The circular issued by the Central Board of Excise & Customs, dated 28th July 2005, amends the previous Circular No. 56/2004-Cus regarding the clearance of imported metal scrap. It introduces an additional customs station, 'CFS Mulund,' to the existing list of 21 customs stations. The amendment aims to streamline the clearance process for imported metal scrap. The circular instructs that the changes be communicated to the trade community through a public notice, and requests acknowledgment of receipt.
