of <h1>Customs Updates Metal Scrap Import Rules: Adds New Stations and Revises Certification References per Circular No. 56/2004-Cus.</h1> The circular issued by the Central Board of Excise & Customs on May 24, 2005, amends the procedure for clearance of imported metal scrap. It updates Circular No. 56/2004-Cus by adding three new customs stations: ICD Jodhpur, ICD Jaipur, and ICD Udaipur. Additionally, it revises the reference from 'Annexure-1 to Appendix-28' to 'Annexure-1 to Appendix-5' in relation to Inspection and Certification Agencies as per the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.I). The circular instructs immediate dissemination of these changes to the trade through a public notice and requests acknowledgment of receipt.
