        <h1>DGFT Adds ICD Karur as New Location for Online Transmission of DES, EPCG, and DEPB Authorizations from Sept 12, 2011.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has announced the inclusion of ICD Karur (INKAR6) as a new location for online transmission of DES (Advance Authorization), EPCG, and DEPB authorizations, effective from September 12, 2011. This addition brings the total number of such locations to 84. From the specified date, DEPB applications related to shipping bills from this port must be filed electronically, and all related authorizations will be communicated online to Customs. This decision follows previous policy circulars and has been approved by the DGFT.
