of <h1>No Fee for Modifications in ANF 2-A Applications Within 90 Days; Rs.1000 Penalty for Delays; PAN Update Free.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has amended the Handbook of Procedures Vol. 1 (2009-2014), specifically ANF 2-A, under the Foreign Trade Policy 2009-2014. The amendment to Para 3 (B) of Part B of the 'Guidelines for Applicants' states that no fee is required for modifications or amendments if applications are made within 90 days. However, a penalty of Rs.1000/- is applicable for delays, payable via Demand Draft. Additionally, no fee is necessary for including a PAN number in the old IEC. This amendment is issued in the public interest.
