of <h1>Income-tax Welfare Fund Managed by CBDT Governing Body and Executive Committee for Effective Administration</h1> The Income-tax Welfare Fund is centrally managed by a Governing Body comprising the Chairman of the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) as the Convener, and several members, including representatives from Revenue, Personnel, and Financial Advisory sectors. Additionally, a Director from the CBDT serves as the Member Secretary. An Executive Committee, led by the Director of Income Tax (DOMS) from CBDT, includes commissioners from various zones and representatives from relevant associations. The Executive Committee, convened by the DIT (DOMS), meets quarterly to oversee fund administration.
