Authorised importer premises movement permits bonded transfer, examination, clearance for home consumption, or removal for warehousing after formalities.

Imported goods may be moved to an Authorised Importer Premises after permission, under bond and ordinarily with a secured seal, subject to waiver by the jurisdictional Commissioner based on the goods or transport. The bond officer may examine goods on arrival and electronically report to the Port of Import. The importer may submit documents or answer queries during clearance or removal. Following completion of formalities, goods may be cleared for home consumption or permitted for removal to warehousing.
