Upon receiving permission, importers can transfer goods to their premises under bond with a secured seal, unless exempted by the Commissioner of Customs. Upon arrival, a bond officer may inspect the goods and report to the Port of Import. Importers must provide necessary documentation during clearance. After fulfilling formalities, goods can be cleared for home consumption or removed for warehousing as per relevant sections of the Act.
