Association of Sikkim with the Union established on terms set out in the constitutional schedule, defining its legal status. The new article provides that Sikkim, comprising the territories specified in the Tenth Schedule, shall be associated with the Union on the terms and conditions set out in that Schedule, and notes commencement by official notification effective on the first day of March, 1975.
