Diplomatic fiscal privileges preserved: the Convention does not affect tax immunities under international law or special agreements. Article 28 provides that nothing in the Convention will affect the fiscal privileges of diplomatic agents or consular officers, preserving immunities under general international law and under the provisions of special agreements.
