Resignation acceptance: Speaker may refuse a non voluntary or insincere resignation after inquiry, protecting legislative membership.

Amendment to Article 190 requires that a member's written resignation addressed to the Speaker or Chairman be accepted by that officeholder, and adds a proviso permitting the Speaker or Chairman, after receiving information and making such inquiry as deemed fit, to refuse acceptance if satisfied that the resignation is not voluntary or genuine.
