of <h1>Article 361-B: Disqualification from Remunerative Political Posts for Members Disqualified Under Tenth Schedule, Until Term Ends or Re-election.</h1> Article 361-B, introduced by the Constitution (91st Amendment) Act, 2003, disqualifies a member of a House from holding any remunerative political post if they are disqualified under Paragraph 2 of the Tenth Schedule. This disqualification lasts from the date of disqualification until the end of the member's term or until they are re-elected, whichever is earlier. The term 'House' refers to the definition in the Tenth Schedule, and 'remunerative political post' includes positions paid by the government or government-owned bodies, excluding compensatory payments.
