of <h1>Finance Act 1966 amends Section 112A: National Savings Certificates include 'First Issue-Bank Series' in tax considerations.</h1> Section 112A of the Income-tax Act has been amended by the Finance Act of 1966. The existing Explanation in this section is re-numbered as Explanation 1. A new Explanation 2 is added, clarifying that for the purposes of sections 112, 114, and 193, 'National Savings Certificates (First Issue)' also encompasses 'National Savings Certificates (First Issue)-Bank Series.'
