This committee comprises the Chairperson of the CCI, a government officer at least at the rank of Joint Secretary from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, and an expert nominated by the Central Government. The committee is responsible for devising its own procedures and recommending a panel of up to three candidates. The final appointment is made by the CCI from this panel, subject to the Central Government's prior approval.
