'Act' refers to the Competition Act, 2002. 'Appellate Tribunal' is the tribunal established under section 53A of the Act. 'Commission' denotes the Competition Commission of India established under section 7 of the Act. 'Year' is defined as the financial year from April 1 to March 31. Terms not defined within these rules but used in the Competition Act, 2002, retain their meanings as defined in that Act.
