of <h1>Regulation 9 Details Steps for Recovery of Penalties: Demand Notices, Asset Transfers, and International Agreements</h1> Regulation 9 of the CCI (Manner Of Recovery Of Monetary Penalty) Regulations, 2011 outlines procedures for recovering penalties from enterprises in default. If an enterprise fails to pay a penalty, a recovery officer can demand payment from the defaulting enterprise or any other entity holding funds for it. Recovery certificates can be issued to joint account holders, and compliance is mandatory. Claims on property after a demand notice are void. Enterprises can contest recovery claims under oath, and the recovery officer may seek court intervention for funds. Transfers of assets by defaulting enterprises are void unless made with adequate consideration or Commission permission. International recovery agreements may be utilized for assets abroad.
