Processing of proposals: proposals for Schedule changes must be examined by a designated officer and submitted to the Committee. Processing of proposals under Rule 6 requires that any proposal for additions or alterations to the Schedule received by the Central Government be referred to the designated officer, who must examine and, where possible, classify the proposal and submit it for consideration by the Committee.
