Tribunal service conditions prohibit arbitration work and impose a two-year post-office employment restriction, subject to government exceptions.

The conditions of service of the President or Member, where not otherwise provided, follow those admissible to a Government of India officer holding a Group 'A' post carrying the same pay. The President or Member must not undertake any arbitration assignment while functioning in the Tribunal. For two years after ceasing office, they must not accept employment connected with the management or administration of any person who was a party before the Tribunal, subject to specified governmental and statutory exceptions.
