Review mechanism for identified imported goods requires mid-term reassessment, reasoned recommendations, and timely Board submission.

The Screening Committee must undertake a mid-term review on expiry of half the validity period of an order issued for identified imported goods, and may also review earlier or whenever necessary. After review, it must prepare a reasoned report with recommendations to the Board on whether the order should be withdrawn or extended, or whether any parameters fixed for identifying the goods should be altered or deleted. The report must be submitted at least thirty days before the order expires.
