Electronic duty-credit scrolls follow automated claim processing, Scheme conditions, export reporting, and exporter access to credit details.

Duty-credit claims for eligible shipping bills or bills of export are processed through the customs automated system, including risk-based evaluation. Customs allows claims subject to notified Scheme conditions and restrictions after the export manifest or export report is filed. Once allowed, the proper officer generates a separate electronic duty-credit scroll for each Scheme. The recipient exporter can access scroll details, including the relevant export document, duty credit allowed, and scroll-generation date, through the customs automated system.
