Manufacture and Other Operations in Warehouse regulations establish a customs warehousing regulatory framework effective on publication. The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs made the Manufacture and Other Operations in Warehouse Regulations, 2019 under powers of the Customs Act, superseding the 1966 regulations; the rules are titled as such and come into force on publication in the Official Gazette, thereby instituting the updated regulatory framework for manufacturing and other operations in customs warehouses.
