<h1>SEBI Rules 1992: Chairman and Members Entitled to Government-Equivalent Travel Allowances for Official Tours and Transfers.</h1> The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) Rules, 1992, specify that the Chairman, when traveling for official tours or transfers, including journeys to join or leave the Board, is entitled to travel and daily allowances, and transportation of personal effects, equivalent to those of a Secretary to the Government of India. Similarly, a whole-time Member is entitled to the same benefits at the scale and rates applicable to a Group 'A' officer of equivalent rank in the Central Government.
