A declarant is required to deposit at least twenty-five percent of the undisclosed income declared under the relevant section of the Act. Deposits can be made on one or more occasions but must be completed before filing the declaration. Payment methods accepted include cash, draft, cheque, or electronic transfer, with the amount payable to the authorized bank accepting the deposit. The provision allowing multiple deposits replaced the earlier requirement of a single payment before declaration.
