Rule 11 Details Provident Fund Entitlements for Tribunal Chairpersons and Members Under 2007 Money Laundering Rules
Rule 11 of the Prevention of Money Laundering (Appointment and Conditions of Service of Chairperson and Members of Appellate Tribunal) Rules, 2007, outlines the provident fund entitlements for various positions within the tribunal. Sitting and retired judges of the Supreme Court or High Courts, when appointed as Chairperson or Member, can contribute to the General or Contributory Provident Fund as per their status. Other tribunal members, including those from Indian Services or with accountancy backgrounds, have specific provident fund rules applicable. Additional appointments to the Appellate Tribunal do not grant new provident fund entitlements.
