<h1>Regulation 7 FEMA 2000 allows export of foreign exchange and currency notes with specific permissions</h1> Regulation 7 of FEMA 2000 governs export of foreign exchange and currency notes from India. Authorized persons may export foreign currency acquired through normal business operations. Any person may take out foreign currency cheques from permitted accounts, foreign exchange obtained from authorized dealers, or currency from vessels/aircraft with Reserve Bank permission. Individuals may export foreign currency possessed or retained under applicable regulations, including unspent amounts from foreign travel. Non-residents may take out unspent foreign exchange up to declared amounts brought into India.
