Warehouse licensing: existing licensed warehouses may continue storing notified goods under customs lock, must apply for license to extend storage. Existing public and private warehouses in place immediately before the Finance Act, 2016 may continue to operate in respect of goods notified under sub section (2) of section 58A for three months from commencement, provided they remain under the customs lock; warehouses wishing to store such goods beyond three months must apply for a license under these regulations within one month of commencement.
