For imports, the list must contain the port or country of origin, description of goods, customs tariff heading, quantity, unit quantity code, and value in rupees. Similarly, for exports, the list should include the port of destination, description of goods, customs tariff heading, quantity, unit quantity code, and value in rupees. These requirements were updated by a notification in 2012, which replaced the previous requirement of including the names of steamers in the lists.
