of <h1>Central Government enacts 2004 Rules under Customs Act, 1962 for regulating daily import-export list publications.</h1> The Publication of Daily Lists of Imports and Exports Rules, 2004, established under the Customs Act, 1962, are enacted by the Central Government to regulate the publication of daily import and export lists. This rule supersedes previous notifications from 1951, 1957, and 1959, except for actions taken or omitted before the supersession. The rules take effect upon their publication in the Official Gazette. The title and commencement section was updated in 2012 through a notification.
